The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle.

This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the Director of Product, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

You will have insights on ongoing customer and market discovery and research to stay up to date on customer needs, market trends and competitors.

You will bring new ideas and enhancements to the team to review and collaborate. You will also construct prototypes and ongoing user testing practices. Additionally, you'll work closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Support to train our internal teams on product updates while creating external customer communication to keep customers informed and excited.

  • Meet with members from the Product/Sales/CSE/ENG team to understand how the software works, why, and common use cases.

  • Meet with service member to see a user in action, gaining a better understanding of our customers.

  • Understand our clients - sitting in on, and listen to/watch dozens of sales presentations and implementation calls to best understand prospect and client wants, common questions.

  • Sit with pm/product/engineers to understand current process.

  • Understand product road map and plan out current workload.

  • Sit with Head of Product, CTO, CEO to understand roadmap and company vision.

  • Understand clear product roadmap and project related work.

  • Work with and help manage project managers.

  • Act as a leader within the company.

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap.

  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Help with Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables.

  • Own and manage parts of the product.

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Be seen as the go-to person for all things product.

  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.

  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines.

  • Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.

    What We're Looking For

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager
    • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Examples of an effective product brief delivered in the past

    Responsibilities

    • Define the product strategy and roadmap
    • Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
    • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
    • Be an expert with respect to the competition
