Why We Are Making The Change

In early 2021, our team started to see slowdowns and longer load times in our app because of a significant influx of new customers. 

We swiftly made the decision to rebuild Hatch on a new server in order to make it faster, more reliable, and more flexible for us to build new future features. 

This has been a significant undertaking for our team, but a necessary one to provide you with the best experience possible. 

What Will Change 

The best part is that this is all happening behind the scenes – in fact, you probably won’t even notice that the migration has occurred (other than an in-app notification and email). 

Here’s what you will notice:

  • Improved app reliability 
  • Fewer bugs and slowdowns
  • A better overall user experience 

With this new server, our engineers will be able to detect issues before they occur, which will allow us to be more proactive with supporting your needs.
