Reset Password

There are two ways to reset your password.  

Reset Password When Signed Out

If you are signed out of Hatch and forgot your password, follow these steps. 

Note: Using Mobile Number to reset an account is only available if you have added a mobile number to your Profile Settings in Hatch. If you do not receive the text, or you aren't sure if you added a mobile number, use the Reset with Email instead.

 Reset with Email
  1. Visit https://app.usehatchapp.com/password/reset or click Forgot Password from the Login Page.
  2. Enter your email address and hit Continue. Make sure it is the one you used to sign up with Hatch.
  3. Check your email inbox for a new message from Hatch. Copy the 6 digit code, and head back to Hatch. 
  4. Enter the 6 digit verification code and click Continue.
  5. Create and Confirm a new password and click Submit
  6. You will see a confirmation screen. Click Continue to Login, and log in using your email and your newly set password. 
 Reset with Mobile Number
  1. Visit https://app.usehatchapp.com/password/reset or click Forgot Password from the Login Page.
  2. Check the box that says Send Code to my phone number.
  3. Check your text message for your verification code.
  4. Enter the 6 digit verification code and click Continue
  5. Create and Confirm a new password and click Submit
  6. You will see a confirmation screen. Click Continue to Login, and log in using your email and your newly set password. 

Reset Password When Signed In 

If you are signed into Hatch and want to Reset your password, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to your Profile Settings in Hatch.

    Click on your profile icon to access Profile Settings.

  2. Under General, you will see the option to Change Password

    Change password can be found under the General Section in Profile Settings.

  3. Create and Confirm a new password and click Save
  4. The next time you go to login, use your email and your newly set password.
