Using Text for Appointment Confirmations

Written by Hatch | August 26, 2020

Sending out appointment reminders through text is an easy no-touch way to build trust with your customers before the appointment runs.

In this demo, I'll show you how easy it is to use Images in Campaigns to set up a three-touch Appointment Confirmation Campaign.

[TRANSCRIPT]

Hey all, Sarah here with Hatch. Today I wanted to show you how easy it is to add images to campaigns in Hatch.

For the purpose of this demo, I wanted to talk about where this might be valuable for your business...appointment confirmations and reminders.

By sending out information prior to the appointment, you’ll make sure that your customer knows….

  • What to expect in the appointment
  • When the appointment is scheduled
  • Who is coming out to their home for the appointment

Sending out text reminders about upcoming appointments is a great way to ensure the success of your demo.

Ok, let’s dive in…

First, we’re going to navigate to the campaign page.

We’re going to use the Appointment Confirmation campaign template. This campaign will send three messages leading up to the appointment.

You can see on this campaign, the appointment date and time will show up in the text message. This information is pulled in through our CRM integration and will be unique for each person put into campaign.

Now I’m going to keep the first two messages the same...but for the final message, I want to make it even more personal.

First, I’m going to adjust the language to include WHO is coming out to the home. Anyone that gets put into this campaign will have Nick as a Sales Representative, so I’m going to add his name and his image to this final message.

Let’s go ahead and save that campaign - and it’s ready to go!

Your customers will receive appointment reminders leading up to their appointment, and you will easily be able to respond within Hatch if they have any questions.
