Last September, ServiceTitan announced a major update to their App Marketplace: a formal certification process designed to raise the bar on security, reliability, and integration quality for every partner in their ecosystem. We wrote about what that meant for Hatch and our 1,000+ ServiceTitan customers at the time — and committed to being ready.
Today, we're excited to share that Hatch has officially completed ServiceTitan's App Certification process.
What ServiceTitan certification means for our customers
ServiceTitan's certification isn't just a badge. It's a multi-stage process where ServiceTitan's team works directly with partners to validate security practices, test reliability and performance, and verify that the integration does what it says it does.
For Hatch customers running on ServiceTitan, this means:
- Your data is protected. Hatch has been vetted for security and privacy best practices by ServiceTitan's team, not just our own.
- The integration is tested and production-ready. ServiceTitan has reviewed and validated Hatch's integration to confirm it delivers on its promised capabilities.
- You get support from both sides. Both Hatch and ServiceTitan support teams are equipped to help with any issues or escalations, no finger-pointing between vendors.
Certification also means ServiceTitan's customer-facing teams can confidently recommend Hatch based on your specific use case and business needs.
Why we waited to do this the right way
As ServiceTitan's ecosystem grew, so did the number of partners building integrations through unofficial workarounds—customer developer accounts and custom builds that fall outside ServiceTitan's vetting and support. The certification program was created in part to address exactly this: to ensure that partners and their integrations meet a higher standard for security, reliability, and quality.
When that program launched, we made a deliberate choice. Rather than racing to market with an unvetted integration, we committed to going through the official certification process.
That’s because the long-term value of a vetted, supported, and scalable integration matters more than speed, and that decision is now paying off.
